Where will training be held?
We have two training locations:
- 9380 Veterans Memorial Pkwy O’Fallon, MO 63366
- 15800 Manchester Rd. Ellisville, MO 63021
We do our best to put your child at the location you prefer. However, location does depend on the group and schedule we have available.
75% of our Training is in O’Fallon (Sun, Mon, Tues, & Thurs)
25% of our Training is in Ellisville (Wed)
3 v 3 tournaments are subject to change day and location to accommodate everyone in the academy.
Make-Up Sessions are held in O’Fallon on each Thursday.
What ages are accepted into the Academy?
Players in the upcoming fall going into 5th -12th grade.
How will the kids be grouped?
Groups consist of 8-14 players according to age and gender.
What if I miss a training session?
1-hour make-up sessions are offered weekly. There are no make-up sessions for the 3 on 3 developmental leagues. Make-up sessions are more informative so players can understand what they have missed to practice on their own. Players and mentors will teach other players the training content for the week under a Lead Instructor’s supervision.
Film Room videos and teachings can be viewed on the website under the “Ledbetter Academy” tab by clicking the Academy access/login and going to your scheduled day/time.
Makeup sessions are offered for each semester and can only be made up in that Semester.Make-up session are subject to change day/time and will be updated weekly on the website.

How often do players attend sessions?
We meet once a week for 90 minutes.
Sessions are designed for players to learn and understand what they need to practice in between sessions by themselves and with teammates. Each session progresses from the previous session.
We do not put guidelines on how much time players should practice in between sessions. We highly encourage players to put a lot of time in between sessions but ultimately it comes down to the player and their goals.
We are more than willing to sit down with parents and players to discuss their goals.
Why is the program 24 Weeks?
The “Ledbetter Advantage” is that we build week to week.
Instructional camps can be overwhelming for players because of the amount of informationthat’s being dumped on them in such a condensed time frame.
It’s much harder to retain and own the information long-term with this approach.
By learning in progression, from week to week, we give our players a chance to digest the new information before building on it the following week.
Do we need to attend all three sessions?
Yes…this is why we are offering make-up sessions weekly. The key to development is building in progression.
We didn’t hear about the program until after it started?
We are always looking to form new groups throughout the year. Register your son or daughter online and we will look at getting them in a new group at the start of next semester.
Players entering the academy after the start of the Academy will be put on a specialized training program to prepare them for the Full 24 Week Program.

What can we expect our child to receive from Ledbetter Basketball?
Our training system focuses on improving the overall player. We focus on individualized skill development, as well as building confidence in each player. We guarantee that if your child focuses on the fundamentals we teach, and practice daily, you will see a remarkable difference in their skill level by the end of the fall session. However, it is important that the child has a passion to play basketball – this drive will encourage them to perform better, as well as remain consistent with their daily development. It is our goal to instruct them in a way that will foster this passion, as well as assist them in learning to enjoy their practice sessions.
We assess players throughout training. If we feel a player is not performing to their potential or seeing improvement, we will have discussions with the parents and player to decide if the program is a good fit.
If you have any questions regarding your player’s development, we are always open and willing to discuss.
What is your overall success rate?
We have a very high overall success rate and a 97% satisfaction rating because the parents that come to us are typically looking for their child to play High School or college basketball. In the past we have had many kids succeed in making their High School teams, as well as have seen participants go on to make college teams over the past 5 ½ years. We believe that the success rate, as we continue to grow, will also grow by leaps and bounds. We have already seen remarkable results, and we encourage you to talk to other parents who are familiar with the academy.
What type of feedback are you getting from the basketball coaches?
Majority of coach’s have responded well to the academy, and view it as added value to their individual players and overall team.
In the event you find that your child’s coach is apprehensive to send or recommend their player’s to the academy for any reason, we encourage that you share this feedback with us in order that we may contact the coach to fully explain Ledbetter basketball’s philosophy and purpose. We encourage parents to make their own decisions based on the goals set forth for their children.
How is Ledbetter Basketball training different from any other basketball instruction or training programs?
- The best way to develop skill is to develop footwork. We have architected the best system for developing footwork and been expanding our model for the past 8 years with the 1000+ players who have gone through our program.
- We bring the most successful College Coaches / NBA Players / Best-Selling Authors to your child for a unique1 on 1 learning experience every week. They get to hear thoughts from these ultra-successful people that Brett has interviewed that they might not, otherwise, be exposed to.
- We are leading the effort in St. Louis to incorporate 3 on 3 with the purpose of development in mind. Your child can learn how to apply the footwork into a game setting as well as working on the intangibles needed to be successful beyond basketball.
What is your overall success rate?
We have a very high overall success rate of 97%. 100% of our players and parents (from last year) said that they would recommend our program to others.
We’ve enjoyed watching our players succeed on all ends of the spectrum; from receiving their Division 1 scholarship to making their Freshman High School team.
What type of feedback are you getting from the basketball coaches?
The majority of coaches have responded well to the academy and they view it as added value to their individual players and overall team.
In the event, that you find your child’s coach is apprehensive to send or recommend their player’s to our academy, we encourage you to share this feedback with us.
We may then contact the coach to fully explain our philosophy and purpose to get on the same page.
Who will be instructing my child throughout the sessions?
Brett Ledbetter will be instructing all participants the first part of the sessions. The second part will be led by Jason Rose and will reinforce training from the first half of the session.
What is the refund policy?
Due to the progressive structure of the program, we do not offer any refunds once the spring session begins. However, should your child unfortunately become seriously injured or diagnosed with a medical condition, we offer a pro-rated refund for any semester that has not been started. In addition, we will offer a full refund if you have registered your child and notify us within 14 days prior to the first training session. Should this occur, we ask that you contact Jason Rose at 636-387-2339
We offer no refunds for sprains and minor injuries. If a player gets a sprain or a minor injury we encourage them to keep attending the sessions until they are able to play again. Players still gain a lot of information by attending and interacting with the other players while recovering.
